To log in for the first time:
1. Dial *17.
2. When prompted, enter your extension number followed by #.
3. When prompted for a password, press 147258 followed by #.
4. You will be prompted to record your name. Follow the prompts to record and approve your mailbox name.
5. After you log in, the voice prompts will provide you with a list of available options. A summary of these options are given in “Summary of Mailbox Options” (see page 2).
*After completing this initial setup users can access their mailbox using the “Envelope” button on
their phone. This will launch the visual voicemail application which provides access to various
options like greeting, password, voicemail to email, etc.
Logging in After the First Time
After completing your initial mailbox setup, you will only need to enter your mailbox number and password to gain access to the system. You may also begin using the “Visual Voicemail” application on the phone for voicemail access. Visual voicemail is accessed by pressing the envelope icon on your desk phone.
To log in after the first time:
1. Dial *17.
2. If you are dialing from your extension, press #. Otherwise, enter your extension number and press #.
3. Enter your voicemail password and press #. After you log in, the voice prompts tell you what to do. A summary of many of the controls is given in Summary of Mailbox Options (see page 2).
Logging in Remotely
You can log in to your own mailbox from a telephone outside of your company's telephone system.
To log in remotely:
1. Dial your direct phone number (DID).
2. When the call is answered by voicemail dial *7
3. When prompted enter your extension number followed by #.
4. When prompted enter your mailbox password followed by #.
5. You will now be at the main activity menu of your voicemail box. Follow the prompts to access messages, greetings, and all other voicemail system functionality. See page 2 for a complete list of menu activities.
