Bloomfield Township requires all staff to complete annual KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. This training helps protect Township systems, data, and residents from phishing, malware, and other cyber threats.
Step 1: Open the KnowBe4 Training Email
You will receive an email from KnowBe4 that:
Is addressed to you by name
Explains the purpose of the security awareness training
Lists a completion deadline
Contains a training link
➡️ Click the training link shown in the email to begin.
Note: The email advises you to close your browser window when finished so your progress is properly recorded.
Step 2: Access the KnowBe4 Training Dashboard
After clicking the link, you will be taken to your KnowBe4 dashboard.
On this screen you will see:
Training Progress (initially 0%)
A message stating “You have completed 0 of 1 assignment”
A Go to Training button
➡️ Click Go to Training to start your assigned course.
Step 3: Complete the Training Module
Follow the on-screen instructions and complete all required sections.
Your progress is saved automatically as you move through the training.
⚠️ Important:
When you finish your session, close the browser window. This ensures your completion status is properly recorded.
If you exit early, you may return later and continue where you left off.
Step 4: Review Training Status (Optional)
Your dashboard may also display:
Phishing Test Results
Personal Risk Score
Leaderboard status
These items are informational and help measure overall cybersecurity awareness.
